Detection of soy milk in pasteurized bovine milk

摘要
Urea alkaline polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, with and without dithiothreitol, and FPLC were used to detect quantitatively the presence of soy milk in pasteurized milk. The results obtained revealed that, whilst urea gel electrophoresis was not promising, SDS-PAGE detected 5% soy milk in bovine milk and FPLC proved to be more sensitive, clearly detecting 1% soy.
