The interpretation of the peak of magnetoelastic interaction in YIG, obtained experimentally by P. H. Cole and based on the theory formerly presented, gives the following results: Armax/5 ~ 2.8 percent in the (111) plane and the velocities of two kinds of transverse elastic vibrations reach extreme values in the direction [1101 and in equivalent directions as well. The above description of the peak shape also indicates relaxation time changes in relation to velocity vibrations Besides, the splitting of the peak in 4.2 K by Turner suggests inverse proportional relation Avi of both kinds of vibrations to temperature.
