摘要
Auger depth profiling analysis performed in Co0.35Y0.65 amorphous films, whose magnetic properties were previously reported, is presented. Surface Y-enrichment is found. This is in agreement with the hypothesis early proposed to explain the anomalous magnetic behaviour found in these films. Preliminary transverse Kerr effect measurement performed in NixY1-x (0.60 less-than-or-equal-to x less-than-or-equal-to 0.95) are also reported.
