NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE OF 155GD AND 157GD NUCLEI IN GADOLINIUM IRON GARNET

摘要
The magnetic resonance of 155Gd and 157Gd nuclei was detected in GdIG at liquid helium temperature by a spin echo method. The resonance frequencies (40.5 and 54 Mc sec) correspond to the effective field of 338 kOe. This value is consistent with the known hyperfine coupling constant of Gd3+ in different compounds. The observed splittings were ascribed to quadrupole interaction. © 1969.
