摘要
Loxosceles species are widely distributed. People are most at risk for bites when they disturb the nocturnal spider's habitat. The bite sequelae range from insignificant, to disseminated intravascular coagulation and renal failure. Patients most frequently seek care for slow-healing necrotic skin lesions. Early surgical excision is not recommended. Conservative local care usually suffices. Dapsone may benefil some patients. Specific antivenom given early may minimize sequelae. © 1990.
