Thermal diffusion in a horizontal liquid film heated from below

摘要：

Thermal diffusion factors have been measured in a thin horizontal liquid film composed of a mixture of toluene and ethanol. The results are substantially independent of the direction of the temperature gradient, a finding which is not in agreement with some work on the CHBr2 center dot CHBr2-CHCl2 center dot CHCl2 system reported earlier.
