ATOMIC EMISSION TRACE ANALYSIS BY NONTHERMAL EXCITATION

摘要
Theoretical considerations on trace analysis by atomic emission spectroscopy are presented. Non-thermal excitation methods proved to be best for attaining low detection limits. Experiments were made to use excitation by electron impact and by low-pressure rare gas discharge. The absolute limits of detection attained are comparable to those of atomic absorption analysis in graphite furnaces. © 1979.
