DIFFUSION IN ZEOLITES - EFFECT OF DIRECTIONAL BIAS

摘要
Pore networks in zolites such as ZSM-5 are zigzagged. This suggest that large sorbate molecules may manifest a directional bias in their migration through such zeolites. At very low sorbate concentration levels, such a directional bias can lead to appreciable anisotropy of the tracer diffusion coefficients. However, this anisotropy becomes less pronounced as the concentration of sorbates increases. © 1991.
