摘要
Standing shocks in the inner regions of accretion disks around active galactic nuclei will modify the disks' spectra. We illustrate the types of spectral energy distributions that emerge from simple models of this kind and compare them with observational results. Good fits, particularly in the UV, are found for 1202 + 281 and 2130 + 099. We also reproduce the IR region very well when we add an additional cool disk component of much larger size.
