摘要
The electron-capture decay of 8.3 h 210At to levels in 210Po has been studied with high-resolution germanium and silicon spectrometers and an anti-Compton germanium spectrometer. Fifty transitions among levels in polonium have been observed, and the K-conversion coefficients of nine of these have been measured with a solid-state conversion-coefficient spectrometer. The new data account for most of the weak, unassigned conversion-electron lines reported in previous studies. A decay scheme is presented that incorporates forty transitions, and the 210Po levels are discussed in terms of recent theoretical calculations. © 1968.
