CONDUCTION-ELECTRON G-FACTOR ON THE X-POCKET HOLES IN IRIDIUM

摘要
The conduction-electron Zeeman splitting on the X3- and X4-pocket holes in iridium has been measured by the de Haasevan Alphen technique. A large anisotropy in the cyclotron orbit g factor (gc) is found on both pockets. Calculations of the gc factor by a relativistic linear muffin-tin orbital method including an external magnetic field are also presented. The obtained results are compared with previous results on the X-pocket holes in palladium and platinum. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
