摘要
Stoicheiometric and kinetic studies are reported for the reaction between cobaltous ions and the potassium salt of 1-nitroso-2-napthol-3,6-disulphonic acid. The product of the reaction is the tris-(1-nitroso-2-napthol-3,6-disulphonate) cobalt(III) complex. In alkaline solution oxidation to cobalt(III) is brought about by oxygen. In acidic solution the uncomplexed ligand itself is the oxidant. © 1969.
