摘要
Operation of a diode-pumped continuous-wave thulium doped fibre laser on the 3H4 - 3H6 transition at ≅l.97 µm is reported. The absorbed pump power at threshold for a multimode fibre with 40µ m core diameter was measured to be ≅20mW. © 1990, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
