摘要
The mass spectra of 1,2‐cyclohexanediol and important data from the spectra of four deuterium labeled analogs have been recorded and mechanistic rationalizations are given for the most important degradation processes observed. Multiple mechanisms are required to explain the indicated peak shifts in the labeled analogs. Particularly relevant is the initial loss of water from the molecular ion, which involves at least four distinct processes. Copyright © 1969 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
