A case of recurrent metastatic pheochromocytoma in pregnancy is reported. Localization of the extra-adrenal tumor sites was accomplished by inferior vena caval catheterization with segmental determinations of epinephrine and norepinephrine levels. Profiles of urinary catecholamine excretion in uncomplicated pregnancies are also presented. To assess daily fluctuations in catecholamine excretion, a series of daily determinations of 24 hour urinary epinephrine and norepinephrine were performed in one subject with an uncomplicated pregnancy from the thirty-second week of gestation until delivery. © 1969.
