摘要
:
For a given cell configuration and a total pressure of 1 atm, a fuel cell is designed for a constant power load. This involves the determination of the extent of electrode area and the potential or average current density at which to operate the device. For a given air to fuel ratio, the optimum utilization of hydrogen is also determined on the basis of the resale value of unused fuel. The cost analysis is simplified to use a single value for capital cost and a single value for operating or fuel cost. © 1979.
