Plastic bonded cadmium electrodes of outstanding electrochemical properties, capable of replacing the commercial pocket-type electrodes of vented NiCd batteries, were produced by rolling the active mass, blended with powdered plastic polymer, onto a metallic current collector at normal temperature. © 1979.
