摘要
Administration of the anti-adrenal drug metopirone (SU 4885) allows for the identification of the ACTH cells in the adenohypophysis of the teleost Anoptichthys jordani. The drug causes a correlated stimulation of the interrenal cells and one cell type in the pituitary gland, i.e. the amphiphilic pro-2 cells, situated in a palisade like layer between the acidophils of the pro-adenohypophysis and the neurohypophysis. © 1968 Springer-Verlag.
