摘要
A method is described for determining “block styrene” in copolymers by using an analog computer to resolve overlapped aromatic proton nmr peaks. The method was applied to emulsion butadiene-sty-rene copolymers. It was shown that styrene sequences as small as two or three units are included in the “block styrene” determination. This technique should prove useful in obtaining sequence distribution information in most copolymer systems or in tacticity studies in which the resolution of overlapped peaks is important. © 1969, American Chemical Society.
