RELAXATION OF FERROMAGNETIC PRECESSION BY EXCITATION OF SPIN-WAVES IN A POLYCRYSTALLINE FERRITE

摘要
New experimental and theoretical results are reported on the relaxation of ferromagnetic precession by excitation of spin-waves in a dense polycrystalline ferrite. The excitation is caused by the random variations in the orientation of the cubic anisotropy axes in different grains. The theory is an extension of the usual transition probability calculations and takes into account the frequency broadening of the spin-waves. For the first time quantitative agreement between theory and experiment has been obtained. © 1969.
