摘要
2 Gb/s operation of an optical-clock-driven GaAs D-flip-flop is demonstrated which is monolithically integrated with metal-semiconductor-metal photodetectors. 100 ps pulsewidth optical-clock pulses generated from a semiconductor laser were used for the optical clock input. The relationship is determined between optical clock input power and output signal waveform.
