摘要：

A new type of probe for sampling from relatively dense flowing gaseous suspensions of particulate solids in ducts is described. The probe is non-isokinetic in its operation and is capable of yielding accurate data on solids mass flux profiles in conditions where conventional isokinetic sampling is not viable (eg. in dense suspensions, fluctuating flow near to vertical vessel walls). The rigorous testing of the probe and details concerning its construction and use are outlined.
