摘要：

Data from yield trials involving 5 flax varieties at 9 locations in 4 consecutive years have been examined. All interactions involving varieties were broken down to extract the contribution of each variety to the interaction. The ranked contributions did not correlate significantly with the rank of the varieties'' mean yields over all tests. The significance of the variety x location x year interaction indicated the need for thorough testing prior to introduction.[long dash]Authors.
