摘要：

Properties of the chemically deposited layers of silver sulphide have been studied using gold contacts. The effect of field reversal, using one gold contact on the layers, response time, lux-ampere characteristics, photoconductivity in relation to biasing frequency, influence of the biasing voltage, effect of heat-treatment on the characteristics of the silver sulphide cells and the spectral characteristics are discussed.
