摘要
Log βi, ΔHi°, and ΔSi° values have been determined in aqueous solution at 25° using a calorimetric titration procedure for the stepwise formation of AgPy2+ and CuPy42+ (Py = pyridine) from their constituent ions. The results agree well with previously determined values where available and demonstrate that titration calorimetry can be used to determine log K, ΔH°, and ΔS° values for metal-ligand systems involving simultaneous equilibria. Four iterative methods of data analysis are compared and discussed.
