摘要：

On the basis of the methodology of ecosystem engineering we have systematically evaluated seven types of marshland uses for biological production in Lixiahe region, Jiangsu Province, China. The integrated values of their economic, ecological and social benefits are listed in order as follows: 599 for the agro-silvo-fishery system; 529 for the silvo-fishery system; 489 for the fishery system; 476 for the agro-silvicultural system; 311 for the agricultural system; 289 for the silvicultural system; and 35 for the natural marshland. The agro-silvo-fishery system has the maximum comprehensive benefits and can serve as a reference for rational uses of marshland.
