ISOTOPE EFFECT IN RESONANT VIBRATIONAL-EXCITATION OF H2O (D2O), NH3 (ND3), CH4 (CD4)

摘要
Isotope effects have been measured for differential vibrational-excitation cross sections of XH (D) stretching motion (XO, N, C) through broad electron scattering shape resonances in H2O (D2O), NH3 (ND3) and CH4 (CD4) around 8 eV impact energy. In the adiabatic nuclei approximation, a simple harmonic-oscillator formula can account for the experimental results. © 1990.
