摘要
An equation for calculating two-dimensional second-order wave reflection and transmission coefficients is derived. It is found that these results can be obtained from the first-order diffraction potential alone. Numerical examples are provided for a submerged circular cylinder both in infinite and finite water depth and for a floating semi-circular cylinder in infinite water depth. It is also concluded that the present formulation can be easily extended for calculating the free surface elevation at any points both in two- and three-dimensional cases.
