This paper considers the injection of CO2 into underground reservoirs. Computer models are used to investigate the disposal of CO2 generated by an 80 MW power station. A number of scenarios are considered, some of which result in containment of the CO2 over very long time scales and others result in the escape of the CO2 after a few hundred years.
