INFLUENCE OF ELECTRON SUBSYSTEM ON MAGNETIC-PROPERTIES OF SEMIMAGNETIC SEMICONDUCTORS

摘要
Semimagnetic semiconductors (SMS) are substitutional solid solutions of semiconductor compounds and corresponding magnetic semiconductors (eg. CdMnTe, HgFeSe, PbGdTe). Both, delocalized-electrons and localized magnetic atoms subsytems are interrelated and interact with each other. The paper reports results related to the influence of electronic energy band structure and carrier concentration on the magnetic properties of SMS. Magnetic phase diagram in the spin glass region will be discussed, the influence of band structure and carrier concentration on the phase transitions: paramagnet-ferromagnet-spin-glass, as well as the magnetism of low dimensional SMS will be presented and considered.
