摘要
The behaviour of highly swelling hydrogels based on a copolymer of acrylic acid and acrylamide has been studied in solutions of low molecular weight salts. An explanation of the mechanism for gel collapse and swelling in solutions of various metals is presented. The dependences of the sorption rate and the amount of sorbed copper ions on the particle size of the dry powder and on the swelling coefficient were established.
