FINE STRUCTURE IN NU1 BAND OF CH3CL NEAR 2970 CM-1

摘要
A S.I.S.A.M. Spectrometer with a resolution limit of 0.031 cm-1 has been used to study the fine structure of the ν1 parallel band of CH3Cl near 2970 cm-1. Several hundred lines have been assigned and all molecular constants computed for both chlorine isotopes. Since the band exhibited no anomalous structure, we have also discussed the assumption of Adel and Barker that a strong Fermi resonance exists between ν1 and 2ν5. © 1969.
