摘要
Pyxidiophora lundqvistii has been discovered to have Acariniola-type ascospores with pigmented subterminal attachment regions. The description of the species is emended and similarities with P. asterophila are discussed. Ascospores of both species were attached to mites present in the type specimens. © 1990, British Mycological Society. All rights reserved.
