摘要
Photoluminescence spectra on single crystal samples of MgIn2S4 and HgIn2S4 display the general characteristics observed in other members of the (AB2X4)-A(II)-B(III)-X(VI) family such as CdIn2S4 and ZnIn2S4: broad emission bands attributed to D-A transitions between compensated levels are observed at energies much lower than the corresponding energy gaps and are found to shift toward higher energies as the exciting photon energy is increased.
