摘要
This paper presents a boundary element algorithm for the solution of axisymmetric diffusion equation in the Laplace transform domain. The free-space Green's function of the governing modified Helmholtz equation is not available in closed form. The difficulty is overcome by a combination of methods, including series expansion, pre-tabulated Green's function, and direct numerical integration. The resulting algorithm is highly efficient. A few examples are provided, which demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed scheme.
