摘要
A number of algebraic expressions for the solute concentration (s) for use with the Michaelis-Menten equation during the analysis of data from [rat] intestinal perfusion experiments were investigated. The most suitable, especially if water absorption is occurring, is of the form: s = (sinitial - seffluent)/In(sinitial/seffluent).
