ORGANIC SHIFT-REAGENTS FOR THE NMR ANALYSIS OF CYCLODEXTRINS

摘要
The analysis of proton NMR spectra of natural or chemically modified cyclodextrins can be greatly simplified by using 'organic shift reagents'. When incorporated in the cyclodextrin internal cavity, they induce shifts of the NMR lines which may be large enough to transform the strongly coupled spectra into first order systems amenable to direct analysis. These observations are based on studies of the inclusion of hydrophobic drugs into these host molecules. © 1990.
