摘要
Immediate analyses of amniotic fluid cells obtained by transabdominal amniocentesis as early as 12 weeks of pregnancy were shown to have detectable levels of all 11 enzymes studied. The relative ease, accessibility, and rapidity of this procedure should prove useful in the prenatal detection of genetic disorders. © 1969.
