摘要
Reaction of oven-dried potato starch with either aluminum or arsenic(III) chlorides results in the formation of aluminum and arsenic(III) starchates in which remain O-AlCl2 and O-AsCl2 as well as O-Al(Cl)-O and O-As(Cl)-O moieties, respectively. The reactions are accompanied by dextrinization of starch leading to compounds slowly hydrolyzing in water.
