摘要
Three groups having a List 1-MMFR interval of 48 hr. had the point of interpolated learning (PIL) either following List-1 learning (48-0), 24 hr. later (48-24), or prior to MMFR (48-48). A fourth group had PIL then MMFR 24 hr. after List 1 (24-24). Two one-list controls had MMFR after 24 and 48 hr., respectively. Groups 48-0 and 48-24 recalled List 1 better than 48-48, due to less initial unlearning and to List-1 recovery over time, respectively. The frequency of recalling the List-1 response but not the corresponding List-2 response varied with List-1 recall; the frequency of recalling both responses was constant across conditions. Increased unlearning accompanied recovery, and the degree of List-2 learning modified the effect of PIL. © 1969 Academic Press Inc. All rights reserved.
