摘要
Thermodynamical properties at very low temperatures point out the glassy nature of the charge or spin density wave (CDW or SDW) ground state. The excess specific heat due to the low energy excitations (LEE) is strongly time dependent. Using a transient heat relaxational method and extending the duration of the heat perturbation, we can follow how the heat is poured out into more and more LEE modes. The time necessary to reach the thermodynamic equilibrium enormously increases at the lowest temperatures (10(5) s at 0.1 K) and the corresponding specific heat is almost ten times larger than in short pulse regime.
