摘要
Thirty-six infants were studied to assess the relationship between their reactions to a stranger as compared to their mothers, and their subsequent attachment behavior during separation and reunion. Significant relationships were found between the stranger/mother comparison classification, indices of attachment behavior, and indices of competent infant functioning. The results support the notion that it is important to study a constellation of infant behaviors to assess attachment rather than single behaviors alone. © 1979, The American Academy of Child Psychiatry.
