ENERGY SPECTRUM OF CHARGED PARTICLES EMITTED BY A DUOPLASMATRON-TYPE DISCHARGE

摘要
Two experimental devices for energy analysis of charged particles-ions and electrons-issued from a duoplasmatron type source are described. The energy spectra and their evolution as a function of various discharge parameters give informations about the potential distribution along the discharge axis. Experiments to test the validity of our hypothesis are analyzed and an elementary model which describes physical processes in a duoplasmatron type discharge is proposed.
