摘要
Investigations of the conductivity and thermopower of highly conductive oriented polyacetylene samples doped with iodine are reported. The maximal conductivity at room temperature is about 2 x 10(4) S/cm. Additional sp3 defects were introduced in a chemical way. The method of introducing sp3 defects employed compensation of Na doped polyacetylene by CH3OD as a source of deuterons. The influence of these defects on the electronic properties was investigated. The possible mechanisms of charge transport are discussed. Variable range hopping is assumed to be valid for lower conductive samples whereas fluctuation induced tunneling was used to fit the results obtained in the highly conductive regime.
