LOW-LOSS CORNER MIRRORS WITH 45-DEGREES DEFLECTION ANGLE FOR INTEGRATED-OPTICS

摘要
A new design for corner mirrors with 45-degrees deflection angle for integrated optics is demonstrated. The mirrors have been fabricated on an InP/In-GaAsP single heterostructure. The losses are as low as 0.3 dB per corner mirror. The fabrication process is described and is compatible with the fabrication of integrated optic devices.
