摘要
We analyse the large-N limit of a matrix model with quartic self-interaction and external scalar field, by the technique of orthogonal polynomials. The rise of a <<spontaneous magnetization>> is studied and compared with the previous known results, based on saddle point integration or Schwinger-Dyson equations.
