摘要
The recovery of potassium in industrial processes using highly concentrated sodium solution has been studied. Equilibrium and kinetic experimental results have been obtained in batch systems, fitted to adequate models and then used to simulate fixed bed ion exchange operation. A pore diffusion model for the kinetics coupled with an axial dispersion model for the column hydrodynamics enabled good prediction of fixed bed experiments.
