Eddy diffusivities of mass were determined using a point source technique. The turbulent diffusion of helium, carbon dioxide and n-octane into air was studied. Results are correlated in terms of the turbulent Schmidt number as a function of eddy viscosity and molecular Schmidt number. © 1969.
