OPTICAL DEPHASING OVER A WIDE TEMPERATURE-RANGE IN EU3+-DOPED SILICATE GLASS

摘要
A nontrivial temperature behaviour of the homogeneous linewidth of Eu3+-doped silicate glass is analyzed. It is shown that this nontrivial temperature dependence, ranging over 0.4-500 K, can be due to the quadratic interaction with low-frequency excitations of different types existing in glasses.
