摘要
Mathematical equations based on those derived in the literature for the completely randomised system have been adapted to allow for the inclusion of a partially ordered system. The results indicate the expected trend of an increasing homogeneity (decreasing standard deviation) as the degree of ordering of a component in the mixture increases. Two different systems are considered, firstly a binary powder mixture where one component is partially ordered and secondly a tertiary powder mixture where the third component is totally ordered, but disproportionately distributed between the other two components. Some possible applications of the equations are briefly discussed. © 1979.
